There is NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION. Mail-in entries MUST be POSTMARKED NO LATER THAN February 26, 2010. Online registration will close at 11:59 PM February 26, 2010. A fee is charged by marathonguide.com when you register online.  The fee is charged on the total amount not just the registration fee. Entries received postmarked after February 26th will be held until the Expo and processed at weekend rates. If space is available, registration will resume at the expo on March 5th. WHAT IS THE LITTLE ROCKERS KIDS MARATHON? The Little Rockers Kids Marathon encourages children (ages 7 to 12) to become more active by following a fun, simple running and/or walking program. The goal for each child is to complete at least 25.2 miles before race day. A marathon is 26.2 miles. Then, on race day, children who are properly registered and have reached their mileage goal will complete their final mile on the official Little Rock Marathon course in front of family, friends and thousands of spectators. The Final Mile is a one mile, non-competitive, untimed fun run/walk. As the children cross the finish line, each will be presented with their finisher’s medal and finish line refreshments like the adult marathon finishers. A child can participate through an official Little Rockers program at their school, church or civic organization. Or, a child can participate at home with an adult’s help. Parents should check with your child’s physician before beginning this program. Children under 7 years of age may participate in a "Mini Rocker" program if it is offered by an official Little Rockers group. Please ask your child's leader or the school principal for details. FREE TRAINING PROGRAM Let us help your child cross the finish line with the Little Rockers Kids Marathon Training Program, presented by the Arkansas Department of Health. This modified marathon training program is specifically designed for children ages 7 to 12. Your child can train at home with and adult training partner or join a group if offered at their school, church or any civic/community/athletic organization.
