2008 Little Rock 5K Fun Run/Walk

Information contained on this page pertains to the “5K”. If you need information on the marathon, half marathon, marathon relay, Classic Rockers or Little Rockers, please refer to those event pages.

The 5K is a noncompetitive 5K (3.1 mile) fun run/walk for families with young children, the casual walker, and others who want to be involved in race day festivities, but aren't ready for the longer distances.

$35 - at expo

Online registration closes 2/21/08 and reopens at the Expo.
Mailed entries must be postmarked by 2/21/08.

Registration Changes
If you wish to change your registration you may do so with the following restrictions:

• To change from a shorter event to a longer event, you must submit a change form (see form below) via fax or a pdf. No changes will be processed until the form is received with your signature and credit card information. Fax change forms to 501-371-6832 or email a pdf of the form to . You must include credit card information to change to a different event that has a higher fee.
• Changes made prior to February 1, 2008 will be made free of charge.
• Changes made after February 1, 2008 will be assessed a $20 adminstrative fee, plus any increase in race fees.
• To correct personal data please submit the change form as quickly as possible. Corrections of personal data are made free of charge.

Course Information

• Traffic control for at least 1 hour. Later finishers will be supported.

Other Race Information

• All 5K participants receive the official race t-shirt, access to post race refreshment area, finisher's medal and free admission to the post race party. 
• After February 1, 2008 shirt sizes are not guaranteed.
• All 5K participants will be timed with the Championchip Timing System just like the Marathon!  Championchip Timing ensures everyone receives an accurate time (awards are based on gun time).  Make sure you read your directions when you pick up your chip on how to secure the chip properly.
• Please refer to the registration page for details and deadlines that may not be listed in this section.

Awards
Awards will be given to the top 10 men and top 10 women.
